Terms & Conditions
Pet Sitting: The Owner hereby agrees and undertakes with and warrants to GGL Pet Services that he has full power to enter into this agreement without the consent of any third party.
That he agrees to his dog being boarded with a resident dogs and, where applicable, dogs from a different household. (in very rare circumstances).
That his dog has not been exposed to rabies or distemper within the period of 30 days prior to this agreement and has been inoculated against rabies, distemper, rhino-tracheitis, tracheo-bronchitis and parvo-virus and such inoculations remain effective at the date of this agreement.
That his dog has not at any time prior to the date hereof attacked any human being or animal.
That there are no material facts or circumstances, which have not been disclosed to GGL Pet Services and which, if disclosed, might reasonably be expected to affect the decision of GGL Pet Services to enter into this agreement.
That the information set out in the Pet Information Form is complete and correct in every respect.
Please ensure that leads, collars, harnesses etc. are in good condition, fit for purpose and the correct fitting to ensure your dogs safety at all times.
All dogs will be walked 2 x a day on a lead unless otherwise stated.
We take great pride in the care of any animal in our charge, however, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, accident, injury or death caused to any animal whilst in our care.
Please ensure that any special instructions are given in writing with full detail.
If your dog bites anyone or attacks another dog or shows aggressive behaviour you will have to either collect your dog or arrange for him to be taken to kennels, if you do not, or are unable to, we will book the dog in at the kennels and you will be liable for all costs incurred.
As this is our home as well as our business we reserve the right to ask for your dog to be collected should it continually defecate in the house, obviously accidents will and do happen but on the rare occasion if your dog is NOT toilet trained you need to tell us in advance, so that we can make special arrangements or in some cases refuse the contract.
In some instances, we may have to arrange for your dog to visit the vet. You are liable for any costs incurred for this. GGL Pet Services will ask you to provide payment to us via Bank Transfer, or cheque and GGL Pet Services will then pay the vets. A receipt will be provided.
Should you be unable to collect your dog on the arranged day, please contact us immediately to re-arrange collection or to arrange delivery. If no contact is made within a reasonable time, GGL Pet Services will endeavour to re-home your dog.
At GGL we work on a trust basis and therefore do not request a deposit. We ask in return that if your circumstances change or even if you simply change your mind; please contact us either by email, text of phone to let us know. This is so your booking can be cleared from the diary and other people will have a chance to re-book your slot. No charges or prolonged questioning is ever done at GGL so please contact us without fear of reprisals. We are understanding and believe that the choice is entirely yours and if you have any doubts or reservations please let us know so that we can use this information to better improve our service.
Small animal boarding
All animals boarding must, to the best of your knowledge, be in good health and all medical conditions fully explained to us prior to boarding We reserve the right to refuse to accept any pet that we consider shows any signs of illness or injury.
For rabbits, we require a copy of your vaccination certificate for VHD and Myxomatosis.
All pets should arrive and depart in a suitable carrier, smaller pets e.g. gerbils, mice, birds etc will arrive in their own escape proof housing.
Should your pet become ill and require medical treatment whilst boarding with us, we will endeavour to keep you fully informed via your emergency contact details and arrange treatment with our regular veterinary practice. you will be required to pay for all veterinary fees on collection of your pet.
Whilst we will take every precaution to fully care for and protect your pet we cannot be held responsible and will accept no liability for any illness, injury or the unlikely event of death during their stay.
Should your pet be unclaimed at the end of the agreed boarding period, whilst we will make every endeavour to contact you, we reserve the right to actively seek to rehome your pet.
Please be aware that no licensing laws or regulations currently exist in respect of boarding small animals and as such all animals are left entirely at their owner’s risk.
Cat & Other Animal Visits
The client must satisfy themselves as to the reliability and trustworthiness of the Petsitter employed and must meet them beforehand. The Petsitter should keep both house, pet & belongings pertaining thereto in a clean & tidy state (as they find them).
Cat Flaps: GGL Pet Services will not be liable for any injury, disappearance or death of any cat with access to the outdoors. I, the owner/client understand that use of a cat flap increases the risk accident or injury to my cat(s) safety or any incidents/accidents to our property.
Dog Sitting: Dogs should not be left unattended for long periods of time. They are sociable animals and need company. If a client/owner insists on leaving dogs overnight, GGL Pet Services will not be held liable or responsible in any way, for damage caused by dogs to themselves, each other and/or any property damage caused
Keys for dog walking clients, or pet visits for cats and other small animals if held, will be locked away securely when not in use. Keys held temporarily for pet visits will be returned as soon as the client informs us of their safe return and, of course, that full payment has been received for services rendered.
Confidentiality: Client confidentiality will be maintained at all times, client details will be kept private and will never
be used for any purpose other than caring for your pet(s).
- All equipment needed for the required work to be supplied by the owner unless negotiated beforehand.
- All food and forage to be supplied by owner.
- All emergency contact numbers must be provided to GGL Pet Services before the contract begins.
- GGL Pet Services will not be liable for any injury to the horse(s) while in our care.
- GGL Pet Services will endeavour to contact the owner with regards to any veterinary treatment deemed necessary. If the owner is not contactable, the appropriate veterinarian will be called and any treatment will be taken under the advisement of the veterinarian including euthanasia.
- GGL Pet Services will not be liable for any call out or veterinary bills incurred while the horse is under our care.
GGL Pet Services is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not disclose information about you to third parties. We will only use the information we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information collected by our site is only used to take and fulfil your order and we will only disclose information to third parties for the purpose of delivering your goods. The type of information we collect about you includes; your name, address, telephone number & email address. The information we hold will be accurate and as up to date as your last contact with us. You can check the information we hold about you on request by email. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
Whilst GGL Pet Servicess use our best efforts to include accurate and up-to-date content on this Web Site, we make no warranties or representations of any kind, expressed or implied, as to its accuracy or appropriateness (including warranties or representations that any particular content fits your purpose or that the content is free from bugs or computer viruses.)
We assume no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content on the Web Site.
In no event shall GGL Pet Servicess be liable for any infringement, loss or damages of any kind, including but not limited to Computer problems, loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, interruption of business, or for indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary or consequential damages any kind that results from your use of the Web Site, your use of any information obtained from web sites linked from this Web Site, or inability to use this Web Site or other web sites linked from this Web Site.

Licence to Blog
Unless otherwise stated, we or our licensors own the intellectual property rights of this Web Site and blog and material on them. Subject to the licence below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved.
